I hopped on the bandwagon Saturday night too so could easily have been me that fucked it.
A pity about the display, could have been a real turning point for Limerick city soccer in
- Staying up
- Getting a crowd behind them going forward. Think the attendance announced was just shy of 2,700 which is decent going and is about 2,500 more than the last LFC match I was at.
Sadly bandwagoners like myself werenât given much to keep us coming back. A fairly poor display. No one looking for the ball. Some terrible passing and crossing. The big lad at centre half was horrendous.
Derry by contrast played some lovely one touch stuff.
Great attendance, with both stands full.
The team just seemed fairly flat and at time nearly tried to play too much football, but it was either passing for the sake of passing, or giving the pass too late. Defending for both the goals was cronic. Second one in particular where lynch was completely oblivious to where his man was and it was thrown over his head.
Any word on what happened the Derry lad who was carried off?
With 10 minutes to go some fans started to slip away to which @dodgy_keeper stood up and roared âYa thatâs right, fuck back to supporting Munsterâ. Will hardly encourage those bandwagoners to come back.

In fairness I was seriously tempted to sneak out myself when your man was down for that stretch. What the fuck were they waiting for with the stretcher?
Not sure what happened the Derry lad. He was down for about a minute before anyone seemed to realise he was seriously injured. Hope heâs alright.

This Williams lad at center back is overweight and fancies himself too much. Miele took his goal well, he hoovers up chances like that.

Class from McPhail there in fairness. Hall at fault 3 times for that goal - 2 crap clearances and 1 bit of crap positioning.

Rico is a brilliant co commentator, wonderful knowledge and always tries to be positive, nearly as good as Brian Kerr i think, very lucky i think with RTE, ok the Dunphy show aside some really quality football commentary
