Innocent is innocent, but I know what your saying…and you’re probably right.
Resource the guards and I would have full faith they’ll catch them, there is only so many lads in any city capable and willing to go out and murder people…you need to prove it obviously but it can be done.
CCTV is everywhere particularly the route the murderer took cycling away…he should be caught…Dublin is a small enough city that way.
It seems as though the Kinahans are on the offensive big time. Gerry would want to rally his troops or face a wipe-out.
It’s classic Godfather territory, Don Hutchio, under threat, is probably reading Mario Puzo’s epic and strstegising.
More next week possibly, prior to heading to the mattresses…
It seems like an organised group are assassinating or trying to wipe out a far bigger but less organised criminal group in the Hutch’s.
It should be a matter of urgency for the minister for Justice…but it seems like there’s no fear for these fellas of being caught cycling up and shooting someone in Dublin city center in broad daylight which is a national disgrace.
With my Limerick hat on, if it happened here…the cries for internment etc and international coverage would be unreal and would get in extra police resources.
I can go on with this as there is no shortage of links to “GAA” player/star/ace added to spice up an accident or tragedy in the media but we’ll leave it will Ronan Kerr’s murder.
Ronan Kerr, policeman and GAA player
There’s an unrelenting amount of chippiness about rugby on here and that Shane Geoghegan stuff takes the biscuit. The fact that so many of you are oblivious that the exact same things happens all the time with GAA players/insert random interest of someone caught up in a tragic accident says a lot. If it had been a GAA player instead of Garryowen Thirds player it would have got the exact same play.
I always had a begrudging respect for the anti rugby football stance of the limerick lads,
The Monk’s “territory” appears to be in awfully non salubrious types of places, Connolly station, Drumcondra , etc, whilst the Kinahins are in the leafy suburbs, if i decide to go for a browse at the weekend around our fair city are there any noticeable road markings or checkpoints i should observe as to how to identify whose land i have entered?
However, as a parting shot, I would just like to point out that you must have spent 15-20 mins gathering all that material and were clearly at stage 4 rattled and were seething at the time. I was gone to bed. That gives me a sliver of satisfaction in this darkest of moments after a clamping…
Surprisingly not really. All you have to do is type in “GAA player tragic” and that’s the first two pages of search results. There’s an awful lot of tragedies with the Association.
I am quite pleased with my riposte though, which has garnered a healthy 6 ‘likes’ so far, whereas your excellent clamping of me has, currently, just one more ‘likes’ at 7. A quasi ‘counter-clamping’ if you will…
