US Presidential Election 2016: Sidney's Victory Lap

Taken down like a anti-Israeli protestor in international waters

Ah good man.

So that’s about 12 tweets per person.

So presupposing all were Trump fans, which would be strange given his robust Israel support and the tweets in support of Palestine and anti Zionist, we’d be looking at 200k of Trump voters.

0.0003% of his voters.

Seems really solid to base your entire argument off of this.

But I didn’t do that. Please state where I said “all”.

What’s clear is that there’s a very significant strain of anti-semitism within Trump’s support, which comes straight from the top.

This is it.

The media, and Irish media as well, have decided that every aspect of Donald Trump is to be criticised.

For example, yesterday the Irish Times on the front page of their website had a health special on Trump’s weight and diet. Why? I didn’t hear about Obama being a smoker when he started out, why Trump’s bloody diet?

Trump’s reaction and his team’s reaction over the inauguration crowd is pathetic, but the point about the media deciding to bury him from the start is not. The MLK sculpture story for example, why was that spread around so quickly? People deciding that every little thing that’ Trump does must be evil.

Oooft :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

It’s fucking ridiculous the mantle the liberal media have taken up. By all means criticize his actions as they unfold but you’d swear he has murdered millions the way they are going on… Shame they don’t use as much gusto when critiquing their own government.

This was your post.

Seems you now are deciding to admit it was a minority and negligible one at that. Have you gone off to that minority now to question them on how they didn’t notice Trump’s pro Israel message pre election?

No need- as facts would get in the way of another moan about Trump and his supports.

Why bother with data or facts when you can go for a hit job?

Accusing the other side of exaggerations, falsehoods and fake news when engaging in the same thing yourself is pathetic.

You musn’t have been reading much at the time, because I read about Obama being a smoker before he had been elected and it was widely referenced.

There were numerous conspiracy theories surrounding Hillary Clinton’s health during the campaign, and Trump did nothing to dispel them.

Seems a bit snowflakey to be be complaining about one article about Trump’s diet.

The MLK statue story was by one journalist who made a mistake - it was corrected within minutes and the journalist subsequently sent out 12 tweets in reference that iwhat was initially reported was erroneous.

In fact Sean Spicer tweeted “apology accepted”.

But Spicer hasn’t apologised or retracted the false claim about the inauguration crowds.

You claimed I said “all”. I never did. Clearly that would be ridiculous, which is why I didn’t say that.

Are you questioning whether there are a significant amount of people that have those views?

Trump himself would appear to either hold those views, or at minimum deliberately use thinly veiled rhetoric and symbolism which promotes them.

You made a post laughing at the hypocricy of “Trump supports” and supporting Israel.

We can now take it after your schooling in here from various posters that you admit that it is a negligible minority of his supporters.

That there was no pivot on Israel, that he majority of his support (based on actual hard polling data), has been pro Israel for a long time?

Again, I will go back to my earlier statement. Your earlier post is akin to me equating all Democrat voters to the rioters on Friday. Ridiculous.

There are no need for facts and data when hunting down ways to have a go at the guy and his supporters.

Elements of both sides are guilty of this, but that you can’t admit when doing it yourself is telling on your credibility in here.

Sid and his radical left wing extremist views is the gift that keeps on giving. This thread is priceless.

Well said.

I did not see the Irish Times putting up on their front page articles on how bad Obama’s habit was.

Throughout the campaign, I saw constant references to Trump’s hands, his appearance and his diet.

It is as childish and irrelevant as Trump’s slurs at Rosie O’Donnell, but the media happily went with it.

The thing about all of this is that it doesn’t do the Trump attackers any favours. When you have the likes of @ChocolateMice pointing it out, who is on a different political spectrum to Trump, you will see the wider population tune out.

Probably why so many decided to stay home in November, actually.

I’m almost pro Trump at this stage I’m so sick of the nauseating rhetoric.

So long, EPA

I see Trump has signed to advance the Dakota access pipeline, no conflict of interest here at all…
