Paul O’Connell looks to be getting better with every minute that passes by. One of the few real positives going into the WC. Flannery and Murphy having solid games too
England are all brawn and no brains. some very poor discipline from them, they won’t score another try unless it comes froma defensive mistake from Ireland
I agree with chewey. England an incredibly limited side who got their try through a defensive lapse by a player out of position. Apart from that they are chronic going forward, musclebound robots.
We’re not much better though and line out and scrum continue to creak and we have nothing going on in our centre. Without BOD we have little to go on and Darcy continues to look a beaten player. As for Reddan…
Proof of what we already knew, BOD is a one man midfield. Dreadful game of rugby, so far removed from this morning Bledisloe Cup game its not even funny. Two very poor sidea.
Positives for Ireland
Full games for Bowe and Ferris albeit Bowe looks incredibly short of form.
Paul at the top of his game, a machine.
Flann looked decent and most of all, still fit. God forbid anything happens to him.
Geordan
Negatives
Darcy
Earls
Scrum/lineout
Without BOD we are finished
Wallace injury. Forces us to play SOB at 7 when 6 would appear to be his best position
Knock to Heaslip
Still no discernible backline moves of note. Maybe they’re being.held in reserve but I seriously doubt it
Theres probably more of both but I cant see them now.
The Northern Hemisphere arent on the same level as the Southern 3. Maybe France but Lievremont will take care of that, as witnessed by Jauzions match winning showing last night for Toulouse.
Dire. Much of the talking points covered already.
D’Arcy, Earls, Healy, Reddan and O’Callaghan all in trouble after that display.
No structure at all and utterly destroyed by their backrow.
The United Kingdom of England, South Africa, Samoa, New Zealand and New York will bludgeon their way out of their group and not much more in the world cup.
We’ll be too busy scratching our heads after the Australia debacle to beat Italy the way we should do, before getting a beating from the worst Springbok side since they rejoined the human race in the early 90s.
