2012 BDO World Darts Championships

“It’s not about the money, it’s about the titles” - Martin Adams

What a fucking walk on by Ross.

Classy gesture by Crofty wishing rival organisation commentator Sid Waddell well in his recovery from illness.

Ross Montgomery’s arm wart shows up wonderfully well on ESPN HD.

Is Montgomery a hun? That’s a few hunnish outfit he has on.

Yes, a plethora of them were playing tonight - Stone, O’Shea and Montgomery.

:shakefist:

You have to be a hun to play in the bdo.

Great 102 out by Tony and he’s throwing for the match now.

The Boss breaks back and we’re into a decider in set 4.

And he takes out 96 to extend the match. 3-1 in Frimley Green.

Ross Montgomery is a veteran of 11 years playing American Football for the Glasgow Diamonds. He’ll have to produce a Tim Tebow like comeback here to save himself. Like Tebow, Montgomery doesn’t put a spiral on his throws.

Important 104 checkout from the Silverback to go 1-1 after the Boss had broken in the first leg of this set.

52% on doubles from O’Shea. That’s awesome.

Bull finish puts Tony one leg away from the win.

Silverback finishes on bull to take out 92.

He’s close again.

With Wolfie 12/24 on check outs and Tony in excess of 50% this is on another level above Phil’s Darts Club.

And there it is. Tony O’Shea advances to a quarter-final meeting with Martin Adams. My mouth is watering here.

Wow. I haven’t seen finishing like that since Ronaldo at Barcelona in 1996/97.

I’ve been in work since 7am and wasn’t on TFK all morning such was my commitment to meeting an important deadline to enable me to scurry home in time for Hankey and Waites. The Manchester City and Liverpool kick-off has been put back by 15 minutes to 19.45 at the behest of broadcasters as they want to avoid a potential clash with the darts on ESPN. The Count and Scotty are onstage at 18.30.

This is gonna be epic

I’ve just noticed that there are well over 100 more replies on this thread than their were on the Phil’s Darts Club fake championship. A more discerning darts’ fan is to be found on TFK.

Looking forward to match all right. Bookies have Waites -1.5. Worth a punt?
