Thanks rocko.

It’s very rare I agree with you, but you’re spot on there. Delighted for Conlon.
Thought Conlan should have been awarded that by 8 or 9 points myself.
The love afforded Nevin and Taylor by RTE pundits not really afforded to Conlon here despite his achievement tonight being greater than the other two this far. He was outstanding tonight.
Less emotion, more reasoned analyses, which is good to see I suppose despite whatever reason behind it.
Robeisy Ramirez beats Andrew Selby 16-11
Makhloufi was fucked out of the olympics yesterday apparentlty for not “trying hard enough” in his 800m heat where he decided to drop out after 200m, he managed to contrive some doctor’s note apparently that the IOC bought that found him to be ill last night however he responded rather well today to pretty much rip the guts out that race in the last lap.
i actually think it was a similar finish to Barecelona in 92 where after a messily run race Cacho used his kick to break the group on the final bend as opposed to the front running style of El Gerrouj ( excpet for 2000 where due to iimproved EPO testing he decided he would be better off not finishing in the top 3 despite been virtually unbeatable since setting the WR in 1998)
Conlon was very impressive.
Billy Walsh and tic tacs
who does Conlon fight next? the Russian looked classy. The Mongol beat the Uzbek did not look that good.
Robeisy Ramirez who is quite good by all accounts.
It’s CONLAN.

Sickening to see the likes of Gola and Runt jumping on the bandwagon now but won’t begrudge them another medal here. C’mon Michael.
I’m a regular at the stadium and can only imagine runt is too as there were plenty of diminutive working class lads from Limerick there the last time I attended
Ah you cunt. Thought you said this was on at 11 so I retired to my room to listen to some Dizzee Rascal with the intention of getting back up to watch Revenge and the fight.
RTE 2 can’t show Revenge and the boxing at the same time. Tard.
Jerry Kiernan reckons it’s a good thing they’ll be holding on to that Arab’s blood samples for the next eight years…

Ah yeah it’s always 20/20 in hindsight isn’t it?
Gobshite.
I said FFS because the race wasn’t live on RTE because of the boxing.
The Algerian is clearly doped. Incredible coincidence how the Algerian favourite for the women’s 1500 was thrown out, but this chap who was a bit more careful comes out of nowhere to blitz the field.
Morceli of Algeria was the favourite in '92 but flopped. El Guerrouj didn’t come along until '96 when he fell during the race. Cacho was another doper. Came out of nowhere, disappeared for four years then amazingly came out of nowhere again to win silver in '96 when Morceli won.
By whose accounts?
Don’t have me go into your room and smash up your new picture frame.
+1. Incredibly annoying.
