premium or corporate level ticket?..who you think will win pal?.. fancy mayo myself…
Neither, proper GAA ticket. Couldn’t care who wins mate, a good game will suit me.
didn´t ask if you cared who won…i asked who you think will win?..
50/50 game mate. The team who wants it more will win. Both teams have their flaws. Just hope it lives up to the hype. I wouldn’t begrudge either team the win.
you left out it will be a game of two halves …
Football will be the winner
Lookit, both of them got here on merit and that’s all that matters. They epitomize all that’s right about the gee eh eh.
true…there´ll be no quarter asked or given…
Good oul bants here between Mac and scumpot.
Jim Gavin says there’s no reason to believe that Rory O’Carroll has done anything wrong.
A photograph taken during Dublin’s All-Ireland semi-final victory over Kerry last weekend appeared to capture the Dublin full back making contact with Colm Cooper’s eye but Gavin says such pictures can be misleading:
“It was brought to my attention and I spoke to the player involved and he said it was just a tussle going for the ball,” the Dublin manager explains in The Irish Times.
"I spoke to a few players and that’s what they saw. I think a single frame just takes one snapshot in time and you need to have a look at the totality of the film to make your own view.
"There’s a lot of photographs you would see online that would make you say, ‘Oh what happened there?’ But they are just snapshots of a particular time where people are taken off-guard or are in unusual circumstances, not knowing the player involved.
"I would be loath to think that anyone would say this Dublin team are cynical. I would take a step back if that was the case.
"We promote them to play good football. If there is any back chat to the referee, we expect the referee to bring the ball up because I certainly wouldn’t tolerate it. And they know that as well.
"They know they are getting a county jersey and with any county jersey comes a responsibility and a responsibility to the game itself as well as to the jersey.
“They only have the jersey for a certain part of their career. There’s a big tradition of Dublin teams that have gone before them, a big legacy that supports them and they have a duty of care to that. So behaving themselves on the field of play is one of them.”
spot on Gentleman Jim…
Denis Bastick has wished Cillian O’Connor well in his bid to be fit for the All-Ireland SFC final.
The Young Footballer of the Year is a major doubt for Mayo’s September 22nd showdown with the Dubs after popping his shoulder for the third time in twelve months during the Connacht champions’ semi-final victory over Tyrone.
Even though he’s on the opposite team, Bastick - who has suffered two serious shoulder injuries himself - empathises with the young Mayo sharpshooter:
“It was very difficult,” the Templeogue Synge Street clubman says in The Irish Daily Mirror. "You do have the chance of it popping out again. But, All-Ireland finals, they don’t come around too often.
"You’re going to do everything you can. I’m sure they have a great medical team getting him right and hopefully he’ll make it.
"It’s possible. You’re not going to be 100% but Cillian O’Connor at 85 or 90%, his free-taking and scoring ability is a huge boost to any team.
“It’s a call for his manager but we wish him all the best. For a stand out player like him, I think if he has any possible way at all he’ll play.”
lovely gesture Denis…
Fair play for wishing O Connor well and also making him aware that the shoulder could pop again…these Dubs really are a credit to the GAA:clap:

Are you a paid up member if your club?
I currently do not have a club to be a member of.
ah here… GAA grass roots me bollix…
Who mentioned grass roots?
You are less entitled to a ticket than any club members, especially those from Dublin and Mayo.
