Arse picking cunt wins 9-7 in final set
What a game! Rafa wins 9-7. We hear so little about the good side of performance enhancing drugs but this was a stunning advert for them.
Just caught the end of it, what was Djokovic moaning about? Unsafe court or some nonsense like that.
The authorities and clowns like Bomber will just bury their head in the sand. Nobody is going to do anything when its only the likes of Christophe Rochus that are crying foul. It was the same in the peleton for years.
Christophe Rochus, the former Belgium player and brother of the more successful Olivier Rochus has been known to make controversial statements about doping in the sport of tennis. Lance Armstrong’s high profile interview with Oprah this week has apparently inspired Rochus to make further statements and assertions about doping in the sport.
Tennis players comment on Armstrong scandal and doping in tennis: Sharapova, Djokovic, Venus and others react
In an interview with LaLibre published today, he questioned the absences of both Robin Soderling and Rafael Nadal from the sport, implying that doping or a secret doping ban might have caused their respective breaks from tennis. He further claimed that as doping is happening anyway – and the Armstrong case proves that testing is in fact not a conclusive indicator of a clean player – that the legalization of doping might be in the best interest of the sport. A translation of an apparent interview reads as follows.
Is doping a reality in tennis ?Of course it is a reality. I was already said that more than ten years ago. It is a sport that has become more and more physical, so there are inevitably more temptations to take performance enhancing drugs. Now, with the Armstrong issue, we have to admit that just because someone has never tested positive, it doesn’t mean that person has never doped. When one can afford good doctors to do personal research, it is possible to take undetectable drugs. So in my opinion, anti-doping controls are useless and they really don’t prove anything. Regarding Nadal, those rumors are rumors even if everyone has the same question: How can you be so strong in Roland Garros and one month later, you are apparently unable to play ? That’s why it looks so suspicious, but we have no proof. Maybe he really is injured.
We have to admit all these breaks, by Nadal and some others are really intriguing…That’s the purpose ! It should not be obvious ! Everyone makes sure it is not clear. The less you lie, the less you give explanations, the better it is! Let’s take Robin Soderling. He won Bastad in 2011, and ever since then, he has not played tennis. Apparently he is really sick (officially he has mononucleosis) when I am certain he was unbeatable back then. We can’t deny how dubious it sounds. He was at the peak of his career, and the day after, he suddenly says he can’t play tennis anymore… I really think it’s unbelievable.
What about the federations? Are they involved or not?It is all part of the rumors. We think, “Oh wait, it is weird.” There are plenty of strange things happening. It’s like everywhere, there are always people you can buy! I guess someone like Armstrong might have the resources and the knowledge to pay someone to know how to avoid getting caught. It’s a certain thing: With money, everything is possible! Now, there is always a way to slip through the net. That’s the way it works because everyone can benefit from it: The federations, the athletes…
As a tennis player, how did you deal, with these issues to keep practising your sport and to make it your job ?When I entered the top 100, I said in the media that it was a scandal to see all these players doping, and I received a letter from the ATP threatening me, “This is the last time you ever talk about this. You have no proof, you have nothing”. Finally, all players I mentioned tested positive. All Argentinians. Rather than all this hypocrisy, I think it would be better to legalize doping. When I say that, I hear I can’t say that because it’s not a good thing and it’s dangerous anyway. But after speaking with the doctors, we are not even sure these products are dangerous for our health. At that moment, each one, in all honesty, is ready to take the risk or is not. My brother and I have always been clean. We could have taken growth hormones, but we never did it. We thought it was not worth it. Maybe we should have…. Maybe we would have never been caught… Maybe my brother would be 17 centimeters (6.69 inches) taller and he would have been in the top 10… Everyone has to make choices. Do we really want to be at the top at all cost or are we content to be just a very good athlete?
That being said, how can we put an end to all this? We have the feeling these doping stories will never end…
It will never end for one reason: Sports are entertainment and we always want more. If, after ten stages in the Tour de France, the cyclists are racing at 25km/h (15.53 mph) because they are exhausted, it won’t be alright. If after a five setter which lasted for five hours in the semi-finals, the player says he can’t even get up to take part in the final, then the entertainment is over. It will never end. Too much money and too much entertainment is at stake. But as a spectator, I don’t mind watching these athletes, even if I know they are doping. For me, Armstrong still remains a great champion… whether he doped or not! Same for the others. They fought; the efforts are still there…

Someone would to give Tsonga a call and tell him his match has started. Ferrer is running away with this.
Nadal should not be questioned, he should be adored.
I didn’t see the game but what a victory, more evidence as to why he is the greatest of all time. Manuel Zelaya is absolutely seething, what a bitter little man.

Here’s another Spanaird on court now, David Ferrer who after a career of mediocrity is suddenly at 4 in the rankings in his 30’s. He’s clean as a whistle though, like all these Spanairds. Never failed a drug test.

Your tin foil hat must be dazzling everyone today, you bitter wanker. I’m just home from work and I’m about to go out onto the balcony to bask in the lovely sun and your bitterness.
Siempre Nadal.

Enjoy the balcony and the sun. I’m watching the tennis. Clearly you’re recently found interest in tennis doesn’t extend beyond your creepy crush on your questionable buddy Nadal.
Another bitter little turd.
Tsonga shitting the course here in front of the Parisian crowd.
2 sets down and over twice as many unforced errors. Ferrer isn’t having to do anything special to win.
Just kidding!
Balcony is the wise decision. Very poor quality second semi final. Tsonga’s unforced errors already at 45 and its only the start of the 3rd set. Ferrer cruising to the final as you predicted.

Sorry, bro.
Ferrer is very underrated and a much improved player than he was 3/4/5 years ago. He is capable of giving anyone a good game (with the exception of an in-form Djokovic and Nadal).
Annabel is looking well tonight on Eurosport.
Ferrer has broken back against Nadal. 2 games all.
Standard has been poor so far. Rafa underpar and Ferrer not playing at his greatest either.
1st set for Nadal, 6-3.
Ferrer, worringly lost four of his five service games in that set. Nadal hasn’t been at his best, but he has produced some moments of quality after a slow start.
Rafa purring now.
This will be a shorter match than the ladies final yesterday. A joke that a player as bad as Ferrer is in what’s supposedly the final of a blue riband event of tennis. That’s clay tennis for you. Thankfully the real tennis season starts at Queens Club tomorrow.
