Was thinking the same thing earlier. Obviously no real logic behind this, but it does make him look really pathetic with his earpiece in when they’re shipping a massive beating.
Yeah I don’t know what he’s supposed to do to avoid my ridicule but he is one of these meticulous preparation guys who comes across as a bit of a bluffer and the mic looks like he believes he has some semblance of control over the unmerciful beating his team are taking.

Dublin went very quiet for a while, even got lazy with kick outs, chipping them up the middle, but a bit more spark in the last 5 minutes. Kildare not making any sort of a physical contest makes it all a bit boring.
No point in playing a second half. Great finish by Connolly.
