Castlebar 8 points down at HT, still within their reach to comeback but they’ve made a right mess of this. They got out of jail with the early goal chances Cross missed in the semi but not today, they pretty much mirror their county team in their naivety at the back.

I don’t think the game is over by any means yet.
I don’t think it is either as they are a team who go for goals but they’re so porous at the back I struggle to see them not concede more goals in this second half.

Yeah, I don’t think the lead is insurmountable but I agree that Castlebar are likely to cough up chances. Ballyboden had loads of joy running down the right flank in the first half in particular and there’s scores to be had for them there.

Cunniffe is a really poor defender, he can hit hard but that’s about it.
