2015 Club Championships - the lads are STILL at it

And it’s Scotstown who get the first point of the second half.

Half time in Cavan.

Kingscourt 0-04 Kilcoo 1-07

Scotstown 1-10
Slaughtneil 0-11

12 minutes left

1 point game in Clones, Scotstown leading at the minute.

Scotstown 1-13
Slaughtneil 0-14

Another free in to us.

Back to a point, this sounds like a belter.

Jaysus, MLR beaten by th Westmeath champions :open_mouth:

1-14 to 0-15 actually.

But it’s 1-15 to 0-15.

Northern Sound commentators put Scotstown on 1-14, 1-15 and 1-16 within the space of four seconds.

1:15 left of normal time.

Darren Hughes fouled. Rory Beggan coming up to take the free which should put us through.

2 to be added.

Beggan hits it wide.

Darren Hughes black carded.

Inside the last minute.

Free Scotstown!

We surely have it.

Scotstown win!

Ulster champions Slaughtneil are deposed.

Personally, I don’t see much difference in them. Although I’ve only seen them play twice in Wexford and the game today. they didn’t look good today, or in anyway better than they’d been before.

Trillick have beaten Naomh Conaill, fantastic result for them.

Naomh Conaill had Anthony Thompson sent off for a straight red early on and lost Brick Molloy to injury early on as well.

Kilcoo and Crossmaglen comfortably through to make up the last four.

Twas Mullins, not MLR.

St Mullins?

Crossmaglen 2-15 Cargin 0-13

Seems like it was a closer game than the scoreline suggests, it was level at half time and 3 points in it with 10 mins to go.

I’d make Kilcoo favourites for the semi-final should they defeat Kingscourt (which they look likely to do).

It’s not as if Clonkill aren’t a decent outfit either in comparison to a Carlow club side, not sure this was a shock.

St Mullins beat MLR by 7 points to retain their crown in Carlow and stretch their record haul out to 25.
