2015 Club Championships - the lads are STILL at it

Quarter final draw in Dublin

Judes vs Na Fianna
Lucan vs Vinnies
Anne’s vs Clontarf
Boden vs Plunketts

Bit of a shift in power?

Annes and Clontarf are surely new enough to the party?

Lucan and judes wouldn’t be that successful either.

Do kilmacud and Boden have any dual players nowadays?

Anne’s and Clontarf are really only in the quarter-finals due to easy draws. Na Fianna are an up and coming team now after a decade in the doldrums.

Lucan are a sleeping giant of a club. Massive catchment area all to themselves, probably the biggest in Dublin. They won’t challenge Vincent’s though and are a stronger hurling club. Jude’s beat Crokes in the hurling last week and have been one of the top six or seven teams in the football for a good few years now without ever really threatening to win it bar 2009 when they made the final.

The O’Carrolls are dual for Crokes and Boden have Hiney and Keaney, Conor McCormack is a panellist. Think that’s it.

Half time in PIR. Nemo 1-07 to 0-03. Absolutely dreadful performance from Carbery Rangers. Nemo are far from vintage.

Tomas O Se has got away with 2 clear striking offences that were reds. Ine after getting absolutely leveled by a fair shoulder.

Luke Connolly giving an exhibition. If he doesn’t play next year for cork if there is so.ething seriously wrong. Made 1-3 and scored 2.

Hopefully other semi will be interesting.

Also just got told by the guy beside me that the ref, Conor Lane, who is an IC ref absolutely hates football and says it openly.

You gotta love the gaa.

Low scoring affair in Derry here, would be a remarkable achievement for Slaughtneil to do the football and hurling double for the second year in a row in such a competitive football championship as Derry. Think they will give Ulster a huge rattle again.

Goal for Slaughtneil should be that.

Rogers is top class, already one of the best defenders in the country.

Sammy Bradley with a class score.

Shane McGuigan on for Slaughtneil now, looked a very classy forward for the Derry minors this year.

Coleraine on the march, gap now at two points. The McGoldricks are some footballing family.

Coleraine’s maroon and green is an eyewateringly bad colour combination.

That was a great goal chance to level the game for them. Should have passed to the man in front of the square.

Some run forward from Rogers there, what a player.

Surely a black card there?

The ref has been extremely poor, hasn’t really benefitted either side but seems to be copping out of giving obvious frees and opting for throw balls.

Big ignorant kick there.

Point in it but likely to be blown up. Slaughtneil going very cynical now.

Cillian O’Connor job there.
