Fuck forgot about him. Gifted.
Talk about a one man team.
More a specialist both Tom Sullivan would be up there as well.
In most cases i would judge a player on how much he can do on his own. Win his own ball, tackle, become a defender when needed or attacker when needed. Bring others into the game etc. Canavan was a classy player and he was tough as fuck in fairness and you could argue he can be in that kist i have comfortably enough depending on what you like in players but he lags behind a few in a number of departments.
Brian Dooher is my favouritd Tyrone player. And he coperfastened that when i met him at Tyrones 10 year get together (by co-incidence) for 2005 this september. He is an extremely nice guy and really is a student of the game. Cavanagh and Jordan are sound meb as well. But only Dooher for me is worth of the real top accolades. He evolved brilliantly and was more than the number on his back.
You said his claim was rubbish and claimed the opposite. Who are you to speak for “most people”?
By the way, if there is a “southern bias” as you claim, and there are more people in “the south” than in Northern Ireland, then it is reasonable to assume “most people” think Fitz is greater than Canavan.
You said there’s a “southern bias” in favour of Fitz. There’s more people in the south. If you’re right then it stands to reason that “most people” favour Fitz over Canavan.
You also said that @Raylan’s contention that “most people” prefer Fitz is unqualified rubbish.
Makes sense that “most people” don’t give Canavan the credit he deserves so. In that case “most people” probably don’t think Canavan is the greatest. So you’re wrong.
Don’t back away from what you signed up for. You are challenging me for calling a statement unqualified rubbish. Well, fucknuts, what have you got to qualify it? Stick to the base issue this time round.
