Just read it and thought it was a piss-poor article by Kimmage. There’s enough raw material in McGurk and that rugby panel for a thesis on sarcasm, yet Kimmage is reduced to dredging up a near 20-year old interview between McGurk and Erik de Bruin to score a point.
I can take or leave Kimmage. He writes some good stuff but is too much of a crusader to be balanced. That piece is terrible.

I agree to a large extent. He comes across as a freak at times, absolutely determined to have the last word in every argument whether it’s significant or not. Would fit in nicely here.
