Ya but in fairness it’s widely accepted that the refs sole purpose was to sort out Cork. He nearly blew it too.

All the posturing in the world won’t curtail reasonable people from reading it as it was intended, as per article. Which is what is being discussed. And if it is a lie take it uo with the people broadcasting it around the place.
Anyway lets not get sidetracked. This is about carryharrys disgusting abuse of a female athlete and hos unhealthy fear of strong women. Or strong anything for that matter.
@caoimhaoin is refusing to back up his comments with evidence which is surprising for someone with such an evidence based scientific approach to life. If I’m reading things right would I be correct in saying it is "widely accepted " in this thread that he is talking through his hole?
There was a very messy situation last year where the chairman of the referees accused Cork management of outrageous abuse. The camogie tried everything in the book to fuck Cork but failed. Then unfortunately the man making the accusations died in an accident and it seemed to go away. But it didn’t really.
Nobody has been able to prove the statement AT made and i repeated incorrect. Happy to retract at that point.
The statement you made about the referee has been proved incorrect. That’s a fact that you might acknowledge.
Was the abuse aimed at him during a game. Are you saying it didn’t happen?

As for Championship games refereed, in this year alone, noting that group 2 had 4 rounds and group 1 had 5 rounds, so the maximum he could have had was 5, he had 4.

kilkenny v Dublin
Wexford v Cork
Dublin v Galway
Wexford v Tipperary 1/4 final
Kilkenny v Kildare Int semi final

Now I could be pedantic and state the league games he also reffed this year, needless to say he reffed every round of league games.
I’m not going to bother my hole looking to see how many senior games he reffed last year. He reffed pretty much every round of senior this year alone between league and championship. To say that the first time he ever reffed at this level was the Cork game just shows the myopic view that Aisling Thompson takes that just because she never had him ref a Cork game, then he must automatically have never reffed before. I also cant believe the journalist would not even try pick up on the accuracy of such a defamatory statement, considering it took me one google search and another 3 minutes on the camogie site to find the above.
It’s a shame there is no more well clamped ratings on here.

No, he in fact instigated the incident and lied about what was said. There was club history between the refs accessor and members of the management as the ref is actually from Cork. I read the letter he sent in, it was flabberghasting.
They came up with thing after thing all year and dragged management up to Portlaois several times and never had their ducks in a row and were blown away by the Cork group. Yet they kept making up new charges. It was mental stuff.

Now, quite clearly, it has been proven that the Wexford Cork game was not his first ever senior camogie game. As you have stated by repeating Aisling Thompsons incorrect statement.
who said it was his first year? I said I couldnt be bothered looking through last year as the only statement made was about his first game being 4 weeks ago. It wasnt. No one, neither you nor AT mentioned anything about previous years.
Stand corrected on that specific point. And i said i was relying on what was being said around, didn’t feel the need to go looking him up. But you have failed to answer the question i asked.
