I’m all for confidence, but other than Tipperary in the 08 semi, Waterford have a terrible record at the business end of the championship.
I’ve seen my county beat every top hurling team at semi or final stage and as a supporter I still look at these games with complete nervousness and trepidation.
Mullane talking about WD being the team to knock KK off their perch is fairly wishful thinking until they actually do it.
Mullane is still part of that 2007 crest hugging air punching insufferable shower of cunts brigade, who despite all their talent were an arrogant shower of cunts, we’re beaten by a very average Limerick team and we’re punished for their arrogance by Kilkenny team that scored a perfect ten in 2008.
