2016 All Ireland Hurling Semi Final - Waterford v Kilkenny - in the melting pot

Legs will tell in the second half.

If WD don’t another goal they can do this. Concede again and i fear its lights out.

Interesting now. Wind is probably worth a couple of points. Waterford happier to see the half time whistle. Kilkenny to try and kill it off in the next ten minutes.

The Bennett’s and Dillon aren’t quiet good enough yet in the forwards for Waterford

Crucial for Waterford to stay in touch for the next quarter. If they can raise a gallop after that, I don’t think Kilkenny can raise it another level and stay with them.

Without doubt, you are some thick. :joy:

Waterford have given as good as they have. Two goals to knock KK right back on their feet, and both times KK have taken it in their stride. Psychologically I think this will get to Waterford.

Can’t see KK losing now and I think it’ll be a routine enough victory.

First 5 minutes will be critical, WD cannot let KK get 4 or 5 up.

Waterford’s respnse to the second Kilkenny goal was key, no drop in intensity or focus. They have to stay within 3 - 4 points for the first 15 minutes, and then just go for it.

Kilkenny have the platform to keep them at arms length. It’ll take a huge effort from Waterford to get back to parity but if they do they might have the legs

Waterford ran out of ideas the last ten minutes, kilkenny playing heads up and decently accurate, kilkenny making sure all big names have a chance to play the ball around the middle, no leaving hogan inside doing nothing. Legs might give waterford a chance, but i doubt it.

Ha? They made one of the goals of the season between them

Very wild pull in lead up to Dillon goal on Bennett.

What else have they done?

Draw is 15/1
