Thatās exactly what Iām talking about.
When jj delaney says that kk got a few dubious decisions at the end, it says all you need to know.
He has a huge head btw.
2013 rules were applied and KK were beaten
Hurling rules need to be rewritten so everybody knows the score. Ball can be thrown, steps taken, drag around waist, pull hurl with spare arm and more gets let go the longer they championship goes on. Now and then will whistle for a free for something let go ten times before.
Then at end calls a soft WD free to try and level it up. Plays two extra minutes to try and level it up for WD. Donāt think refs are biased towards KK but more under pressure to ālet it flowā.
Well in fairness Limerick didnāt get a second crack at Kilkenny in 2014 so you can only surmise. Iām just saying Waterford need to be careful. The world and his wife fancied Limerick in 2015 and look what happened. Can you say with certainty it wonāt happen to Waterford in 2017
Thereās dubious decisions in every game but yeah, like you posted above, itās all a conspiracy whereby the county board or Cody or whoever gets to the refs and the top brass and makes sure we get it the way we want. Sure we canāt hurl at all, weād rather play football.
Wait, scratch that, Iāve said too much.
LONG LIVE THE FEAR
This ref did it different within the game. Thats the major inconsistancy. I donāt mind, as much, one ref being different from the other. At least you know what you get.
ButMarty Duffy, that langer last saturday, McGrath and numerous others change like the wind.
I think the better side won tonight for what its worth. But KK and Dublin are being reffed differently to everyone else. The dubs is the crowd/homer type stuff. KK is largely Cody and intimidating players. They have skilled themselces in fouls that donāt get pulled. Its wrong they get away with it but i admire them for doing whatever they can.
I also hugely admire this KK team. Definitely not as strong as in the past but they make the most of it.
Hogan is a beautiful player.
I suspect that he knew heād given it to kk and tried to even it up a bit, but it was too late. He must also have been as dubious as everyone else about the three minutes of injury time. He also, I think, was wrong stopping the game for a calf injury.
Did anyone else notice codys pet official Brian gavin standing out on the pitch in front of the last Waterford free to ensure it wasnt moved at all.
The last two scoring frees Kilkenny got where Padraig Walsh fell to the ground and the one that put them 2-18 to 2-17 up were very soft.
The one not given for the hold on Shanahan was simply a wrong decision.
I thought talk that the ref favoured KK last week was well over the top but he did his bit for them in the last ten minutes tonight.
Er rightā¦
Waterford are on a much more solid footing than Lk were in 2O14 . They have been a decent side now for 2 years . Lk form in 2013 and 2014 comes with a huge asterisk given the poor championship in 2013 and a failure to beat a bad cork team in 2014 . There was huge giddiness around Lk in after Kk in 2014.
I donāt know if Waterford will progress further in 2017 ( i think they may not) but they are on a much more sustainable footing than Lk in 2014 .
So JJ said KK got a few decisions at the end of one game and that translates to the horseshit you posted above. I like you flatty and I normally enjoy your posts but I think youāre losing the plot here
Wouldnāt disagree with that. At least Waterfords performances have come under the same management. Theyāre definitely on the right track. All Iām saying is they need to be careful and not take it for granted.
Nope. That is my perception, and Iām not alone. Stats proved fergie time existed after all.
Those two matches have salvaged the Championship .
Yes :
Thatās the end of Waterford. Theyāll have to clear that team out now and probably new management.
Waterford got two very soft frees near the end too
āThe world and his wife fancied Limerick in 2015ā¦ā Deluded Limerick clowns fancied Limerick in 2015. The same clowns who fancy Limerick every year. Waterford have built on underage success and have been very consistent for two seasons. Limerick beat tipp, cork and Wexford in 13 and 14 while failing to gain promotion from 1b. Thereās absolutely no comparison.
I thought the ref last week was fuckin brutal,Waterford couldnāt buy a free but that was lost in the hype after the game,kk lads hanging out of Waterford playerās by the hips and no free given,I thought kk just about shaded it tonight, those 3 points before ht won them the game.Gleeson was unreal tonight for about 55 minutes but faded a bit which was only natural,he took a little bit too much out of the ball a couple of times when a pass inside might have been a better option, definitely young hurler of the year
Waterford have a few absolutely world class hurlers.
