No there wonât. We can draw one of the usual four teams as we have for the last hundred years. Each one of which can and probably will beat us.
But sure we wonât fear them at least
Sure we could only beat what was put in front of us.
+1. Itâs time to scrap the Munster championship at this stage.
Tipp would have beaten the living shite out of Waterford if weâd been unfortunate enough to make the final.
Itâs just tedious at this stage. Especially with the back door.
Waterford will never win an AI with Derek McGrath in charge. #toonegative
#hurlingwithfear
I donât know if I agree with the general point, but out of interest, when was the last time we played Galway in a knockout Championship match?
Did we lose to them in Limerick around 8 years back?
2005 .
They beat us in 2005 alright, but it wasnât a knockout game, was a round robin and we were both already through.
We needed to win that one to avoid the cats in the quarter final. Lost by a point
Thatâs fair enough, but it wasnât a proper knockout match, Kilkenny werenât as feared then as they are now.
I think the last time we played them in a knockout fixture was 81⌠which is mad considering the qualifiers have been around for a while, Galway always used to be in them and we tended to be too.
Getting out of 1b has to be the priority this year.
Leave the grass grow up to fuck till then.
Attitude man
Limerick a tricky team not a. great one yet
I donât know about that @Fagan_ODowd, you should know the Tipp mindset by now.
A turn up to collect the cup type of match. Homecoming planned and all, only to be beaten.
So you only read it while limerick are involved
Itâs a little tradition of mine.
