All Vins .
Wow, no Cillian OāConnor In the top 10.
Two Vincentās lads squared up to each other in a Vincentās pub. No slap was thrown and it ends up in court. What the fuck? Iāve seen Heery doing much worse to Meath men in Croke Park and he wouldnāt even get a yellow card for it.
Who is the Dalton lad?
Is he a bit of a pussy?
He played hurling and football for Dublin and Vincentās in the 80s and 90s. He was skilful but careful as a player. Heery is a proper nutter though. Even now in his 50s he is not a man to be trifled with.
A windy corner forward?
Heery is good craic but there is an edge to him .
There certainly is
Pretty much.
Dalton played on the dub hurling teams managed by Lar Foley .
Donaghy back in full forward on the Kerry team.
I donāt remember Dalton playing football for Dublin? He couldnāt have played very much if he did.
Humphreys was a vins man
Yip
What have they said about what went on
He didnāt play a whole pile but he definitely played league in the late 80s. He was always a better Hurler though
Dalton has a surprisingly extensive Wikipedia page. It says he came on as a sub against Meath in 1991, but I have no recollection at all of him featuring in any of those matches. If he did come on it must have been a very brief cameo.
The Dublin hurlers were going pretty well at the same time too.
Inter-county dual players were never much of thing in Dublin, not since the 60s anyway.
Generally they just give up hurling if the football manager winks at them.
