I was hoping this game would be the 4 O’clock billing thinking it’d be the more competitive match. What a disappointment it has been. Let’s hope the Kildare lads will not fold so quickly.

Ulster, the elite football province on the back of getting a few sides into the last 12? Talk about double standards. You were having a right cut here only a few weeks ago at what you perceived to be people making out Spurs finishing second to be a good season and a noteworthy achievement.

If you use the criteria you were using only a few weeks ago for the English football league about the big prize as the only thing that matters, it’s Munster 50 Ulster 17.

Each province is guaranteed 2 sides each in the last 12. So of the 4 slots up for grabs, Ulster grabbed 3, Connacht 1, Munster and Leinster 0.

They will Joe. How much of a fight is hard to know. Withon 4 points is a good performance, having the game in the balance with 5 mins left woukd be a great performance.

Westmeath have shown they were at nothing this year but Dublin put alot into semi-final. Its hard to know exactly where they are. We know Kildare are improving, how much we do not know.
