2017 All Ireland Senior Football Championship

Is there an absolute distinction between a yellow and black card offence? Or is it at the discretion of the ref in some cases?

Galway have not won a QF since 2001

Interesting 1 on 1. Is Morley slow and a target for teams such as tyrone and dublin?

They’ll win this match but this Kerry defence is so porous. Teams like Cork and Galway have carved them open at times.

Dublin could go to town against them.

If Galway believed in themselves they could win this. Kerry are at nothing today.

The longer the summer goes on the cards turn to yellow

Kerry are freewheeling

Galway need to put someone in front of Donaghy.

Kerry are only gowling around, lads.

A joke that Kerry cunt is still on the field. Refs can’t be whining about respect when that sort of shit is still happening.

If Enright was from Tyrone…

He’d have said the rosary before the game.

The black card should be done away with,

There’s consistency whatsoever.

Kerry have some very, very talented footballers but they really do lack genuine pace, especially at the back.

I think their league victory was quite deceptive.

Last year I thought they’d beat Dublin and they went very close but I think Dublin would pummel them in a final this year and Tyrone would also beat them.

GAA Black card offences are:

1 To deliberately pull down an opponent

2 To deliberately trip an opponent with hand, arm or foot

3 To deliberately body collide with an opponent after he has played the ball away or for the purpose of taking him out of the movement of play

4 To use abusive or provocative language or gestures to players

5 To remonstrate in an aggressive manner with a match official.

That one looked a stick on for #3.

If a player on a yellow commits offence #3, what course of action should the ref take?

Second yellow and sent off

Black card, followed by red.

Is that explicitly stated somewhere? If it’s a black card offence why wouldn’t a black card be issued?
