Tyrone forwards will need to show a lot of improvement and not go missing again in Croke Park if they are to stop Dublin in a putative semi final meeting. A heavily fancied Tyrone scored just 0-12 when they lost to Mayo in last yearâs quarter final and the year before posted just 1-11 when they lost to Kerry in the semi final. Tyrone have lost all 6 championship games this decade to Kerry, Dublin and Mayo (two games against each of them). Letâs see how they get on against Armagh on Saturday first.

Rory said if there was one card Enrightâs assault shouldnât have been, it was yellow. He suggested it was a red.
He also suggested the GAA should have a look at Donaghyâs impression of the Boston Strangler when he grabbed the Galway full-back around the neck with both hands.
Thereâs only ever at a push about 4 serious contenders in any given year. You get unnecessarily hot and bothered about last 8âs, last 12âs, A and B sides of the draw. An odd year like 2002 and 2009 that Kerry ended up in Round 2 of the qualifiers, they coasted their way through to the final.

Its time to get rid of Des, his pro Dublin bias has gotten out of hand. RTĂ needs to get a former player into the role. A not long retired player with experience in the media perhaps, and beloved by the younger generation. Someone from one of the traditionally strong counties, maybe someone with underage success to his name, and with a cheeky lovable rogue nature beloved by all.
Finding such a person will be difficult, but not impossible I feel.
