They could do and the way to do it is obvious .
Marty is a fucking gobshite. âOh oh the Roscommon bus was late for the game but theyâve finally arrived at 2.20â after a Diarmuid Murtagh point. Queue 3 Mayo goals in 5 minutes.
âItâs hard to know whatâs wrong with Roscommonâ, says Kevin Cassidy.
It really isnât, Kevin.
You could sail a car ferry through the Roscommon defence.
This goalieâs hipster beard will be grey by the end of this.
Jesus but Gaelic Football is utterly fucked. Super 8âs me hoop.
Kerry , Dublin , Mayo and Tyrone must be made carry weight to try make it competitive.
Yep.
Thereâll be some red faces in HQ when this brain fart idea backfires.
Interesting the narrative from RTE puppets like Marty. Wonderful Mayo, lauding their mini renaissance as they slaughter a hapless Roscommon. If Dublin were doing this to Westmeath or Laois theyâd be calls for a root and branch review, all Ireland B competitions etc. Its nauseating listening to their drivel.
The big 4 have all made it to the semis, the championship starts now.
Training session for Mayo.
The big 3 and Tyrone mate
Hopefully Roscommon are hulking up in the changing room. They might make a game of it.
Keeping the score down now is all they can hope for.Mayo have keegan to come on yet as well.
Four provincial finals won by margins of 11, 9, 8 & 9 and four quarter finals won by 8, 18, 8 & 13 (and counting). 7th consecutive semi final for Mayo since 2011, 8 consecutive for Dublin since 2010 and Kerry have been in 19 of 22 semi finals since 1996. Canât wait for the Super 8âs to solve everything.
Jury is very much out as to whether Tyrone are at this level. Maybe there are, but judgement should be reserved on Tyrone until they go and win a serious game of football. Tyrone have lost all 6 championship games theyâve played against Dublin, Mayo and Kerry this decade and last yearâs 1 point defeat to Mayo when they were red hot favourites was the only time they got to within a score of the Big 3 in any of those 6 games.
Mayo have failed to win in their last 7 Championship meetings with Dublin and Kerry.
But Tyrone are the only team that have competed with Dublin over the last 5 years according to @Sidney?
They are the only team who have competed as equals on a consistent basis since Jim Gavin took over the Dublin team.
In five games, the best Dublin have managed against Tyrone is two one point wins.
You think Okay, I get it, Iâm prepared for the worst, but you hold out that small hope, see, and thatâs what fucks you up. Thatâs what kills you.
Stephen King, Joyland
Itâs ok.
@Matty_Hislop is a south Dublin rugby fan, he wouldnât know or understand much about GAA.
