Interesting the narrative from RTE puppets like Marty. Wonderful Mayo, lauding their mini renaissance as they slaughter a hapless Roscommon. If Dublin were doing this to Westmeath or Laois they’d be calls for a root and branch review, all Ireland B competitions etc. Its nauseating listening to their drivel.

Four provincial finals won by margins of 11, 9, 8 & 9 and four quarter finals won by 8, 18, 8 & 13 (and counting). 7th consecutive semi final for Mayo since 2011, 8 consecutive for Dublin since 2010 and Kerry have been in 19 of 22 semi finals since 1996. Can’t wait for the Super 8’s to solve everything.

Jury is very much out as to whether Tyrone are at this level. Maybe there are, but judgement should be reserved on Tyrone until they go and win a serious game of football. Tyrone have lost all 6 championship games they’ve played against Dublin, Mayo and Kerry this decade and last year’s 1 point defeat to Mayo when they were red hot favourites was the only time they got to within a score of the Big 3 in any of those 6 games.

In five games, the best Dublin have managed against Tyrone is two one point wins.
