Because head high tackles are dangerous and will get a yellow youâre now better off dragging a lad down by the neck rather than anywhere else. Themâs the fruits of the black card.
Not stiff armed though. Poor tackling rather than malicious.
Two years later and people still donât realise head high tackles arenât on the black card list.

In rugby you can drag a player down so anything head high is more likely malicious.
