2017 All Ireland Senior Football Championship

The 3 week break will go against them. They could overthink it.

Good point.

They need the break surely

There’s another one for @Nembo_Kid to add onto the Mayo total.

Are you going to answer my question three weeks later?

There’s something magical about Mayo and this Mayo side in particular. They’re a phenomenal bunch of lads.

Definitely a foot block by Boyle.

The People’s Champions. Hopefully unlike Jimmy White they become Champions on 17 September.

Definitely not

I am leaning that way too at the moment. They have added alot of critical parts to their game

Are you going to answer my question three weeks later? How many of their 6 championship games this decade against the Big 3 of Dublin, Kerry & Mayo (two apiece) have Tyrone won?

Something is amiss there, then.

I don’t think games where hardly any of the current team played in hold evidence.

Only McCarron, Cavanaghs x 2, Harte and Donnelly were involved against Mayo in 2013 of the team to start tomrorow.

Only Colm Cavanagh, McCarron, Harte and Donnelly played against Kerry in 2012.

Only Sean Cavanagh, McCarron and Colm Cavanagh were involved in the games against Dublin in 2010 and 2011.

So obviously you’re talking about two completely diffrent Tyrone sides to pre 2015 and presently.

Discounting those meetings pre 2015 that would leave Tyrone’s record as 0/2 before tomorrow.

Mayo’s record before today against Kerry and Dublin from 2013 to present was 0/7.

Odd you only try and engage a question now 3 weeks after it was put to you and when parameters have changed.

Has Rochford shown that to date though?

If you’re going to do a pivot on TFK then you better get your timing right. My double pivot on Waterford (hurling) and Mayo (football) during their respective campaigns is going just swimmingly. I’d settle for one All Ireland but the double would be absolutely fantastic.

I had a look at that rule and the wording is “second repeat infraction” i.e. a third ordering off.

Therefore, if McCarron was to pick up a double yellow tomorrow, he’d be out of the final if Tyrone progressed. If they didn’t, he’d miss the first game of the 2018 Ulster championship.

Are bans on finals for repeat offences not voided such as this one. Black card suspensions don’t carry through to the final.

The All Ireland winner will come from tomorrow’s game

I don’t think so. The only way to escape a ban for a final is to pull the helmet off someone.

The aforementioned player may have some form here, of course.

1948 the only occasion both featured in the final in the same year.
