2017 All Ireland Senior Football Championship

A clear peno

Kev, Iā€™m disappointed you didnā€™t comment on the Cooper foul in the first half. It was a blatant foul by COC which he scored a point from.

Your refusal to even acknowledge that foul suggests you were biased against Dublin in your in game analysis.

Mayo are a story TBH in a stake championship . Dublin are a bit bland and ruthlessly efficient .

Mayo just donā€™t have the pace in their attack to score easily .

calling dublin bland is a bit silly

Thatā€™s a team completely skewed towards semi finalists. Sean Murphy of Carlow at midfield ahead of Colm Cavanagh is the most glaring fault in that team.

Youā€™re a nutjob.

I donā€™t think Mayo can do much more or be prepared much better. They matched them all through and just a break of a ball either way beat them. the reality is Dublin had a better bench to call on and that saw them though. Mayo donā€™t have that but no one else does either

Mayo had too many soft wides in the first half.

I didnā€™t agree with some of the Mayo substitutions, they seem to bring on fellas and take fellas off for the sake of it. Some of those boys they brought on with 5/10 mins to go werenā€™t going to win a game for them when itā€™s in the melting pot like that.

Dublin hit a load of bad wides in the first half too

I think the Moran one was correct. He looked like he was tiring and hit a tired wide just before it. Boyle was on a yellow.

SOS was doing well but Diarmuid Oā€™Connor had a great impact when brought on. Coen is out of his depth, Nally, Cafferkey and Drake were just fresh legs in the dying minutes

As things stand they should bring forward the All Ireland to mid July and let this 2 at it. That was magnificent.

Dublin a better football team but Mayo are some collection of men.

Unfortunately the crucial decisions went Dublinā€™ s way today. But I suppose thatā€™s a symptom of picking your training match referee for the All Ireland final. Chickened out of giving 2 penalties under the glare of the Hill. And watched on merrily as Con O Callaghan, Kilkenny, Connolly etc took 10 to 15 steps with the ball in hand.

Nice touch by Clucko mentioning the lads for organising the competition.

McCarthy or Barrett man of the match.

Iā€™m tempted to say not a sport, but Iā€™ll let it pass. Were they in a reasonably condensed period of time so that itā€™s largely the same team like Mayo?

They lost three in a row 07 08 09 before winning 2010

Will Mayo ever get that win though is the question
