OâConnell has had a fine game, lovely score in the first point and really testing the Dublin defence with his running. Took a big slap there.

First thing McManus has really done all day, won that ball and set that up.
Lovely little dummy and finish at the near post. Cluxton maybe could have done better, but it was a class finish.
Thatâs why Lateral doesnât shoot very much.

As good a league game as i have seen in a long time. Others have been high scoring etc, but this is full of everything.
I have always said it, up until the dubs recently, Monaghan as a county produce the most skilled footballers in Ireland pound for pound. Whatever way they coach it in monaghan there is a cleverness to their players.
