Great to see Armstrong back, still shooting on sight but motoring nicely. Gave some lovely weighted handoasses too to set up chances for team mates.

If he played an obviously injured player, and ignored medical advise, in such a dead rubber game then its both unfair on the player and dumb long term management in not thinking about down the road.

Yes, Itās been a long wait and obviously we still need to end the Championship drought in Croke Park. That 2001 team lost badly to Tyrone and Kerry in 03 & 04, narrowly to Cork in 05, then there was the classic game V Kerry in 08, which was the swan song for what was left of the 01 team. Went a few years then where we didnāt play in Croke Park at all.
