Long doesnāt look interested half the time.
He is an extremely frustrating player in an Ireland jersey. Excels off the bench against tired defences with his hard running but looks extremely limited more often than not when he starts games when he has to play with his back to goal more
He canāt bring other players in to game .

Agreed, he has no real subtlety to his game and is fairly one dimensional which means he struggles to make an impact. McClean had similar issues but his workrate has seen him become a more impactful player recently
