2017 NCAA College Football - The Road To Atlanta GA

The play calling when they were backed up the prior drive was brutal.

Irish get the job done 35 - 14 putting up over 300 rushing yards on the much vaunted wolfpack defense.

Yeah, brutal stuff. They didn’t get close to a first down on either of those last 2 drives.

Didn’t see the tOSU-Penn State game but looking at the box score, the numbers for one Seqoun Barkley don’t exactly jump off the screen.

He had an incredible first half but the OS offensive line got on top in the second half, and demolished the Penn State line in the last quarter.

I presume this was after the opening return.

From the time of the tweet probably after his second TD…

Darnold with a 32yd TD pass on the opening drive for South Cal.

Arizona State’s N’Keal Harry is an absolute beast. 70 yard pickup on that reception.

Playoff Selection Committee releasing their rankings at the moment.

  1. Georgia
  2. Alabama
  3. Notre Dame
  4. Clemson
  5. Oklahoma
  6. Ohio State

A few surprises there, particularly Clemson in 4th place. If Notre Dame win out then they are in.

Not a lot of faith in B1G there

What did 'bama do to drop to 2? Admittedly, I haven’t seen any of Georgia this year.

Strength of schedule is important to the committee. They’ve beaten a bunch of cupcakes and teams that subsequently turned out to be crap.

Bama have beaten no one, while looking very impressive. The SEC final will be epic. ND there because of their 1 point loss to Georgia and their demolition of USC. I love this new format but wish they would dispense with conference finals and go to 8 team playoffs. Like asking to get rid of the Munster final unfortunately.

They’ve looked the best team in the country but I am not an affiliated member of the American Press. It’s a much maligned ranking system but it’s not going anywhere.

Buckeyes should be top 4 also IMHFO.

By your own admission you haven’t seen Georgia who are very impressive. I ageee OS are underrated and indeed might win it out. ND probably a bit overrated. Penn State a bit unlucky but couldn’t end up in top 4.

Couple of big teams in a spot of bother; particularly Ohio State who are down 17 - 31 away to Iowa.

Clemson are also in a battle with NC State, down 17 - 21. The Wolfpack QB, Ryan Finley is putting up some impressive numbers.

You mean Brady’s heir?

What a game unfolding in Oklhaoma. two of the nation’s top (top) QB’s slugging it out as Baker Mayfield’s Oklahoma lead Mason Rudolph’s Oklahoma State 35-24 halfway through the 2nd quarter.

Barkley & Co facing a second loss on the bounce. Michigan State have just taken a TD lead. Middle of the 3rd.
