No. I wouldn’t agree with that. France were much the better team in the first quarter. They had a try (correctly) disallowed for a knock on which would have put them 10-0 up. That was the game really. As the weather conditions got worse, France just retreated into their shell. It was a real arm wrestle which suited what is a functional and dull Ireland side.
Scotland have by some distance been the most entertaining team in the tournament. I’d love to see them win the Calcutta Cup and Triple Crown at Twickenham.
