He did.

He said Kildare were an 8 point better side and there is only one possible way Armagh could stave off a hammering.

As the campaign has unfolded so far, Kev has shown us he knows very little about football.

Yes he said that. He didnā€™t say they would hammer Armagh

He did.

He said Kildare are an 8 point better team at minimum and there is only one possible approach that could possibly prevent a hammering.

Itā€™s a very definitive statement, itā€™s just a pity when push comes to shove he doesnā€™t have any conviction in it.

Thereā€™s not much between the sides and Iā€™d expect if the draw happens youā€™re looking at Kildare being slight favourites. Iā€™m just trying to pin Kev to his hot air but as usual heā€™s trying to weasel away when his bravado has to have some substance.

Exactly. He said that they could prevent a hammering so he didnā€™t say it would be a hammering

Itā€™ll be TFK Armageddon if Armagh end up facing Kildare in championship 2017.

No it wonā€™t, Kildare will win and @Nembo_Kid will disappear for a few days and never mention it, thatā€™s what he does.

Ooooooooooffffffttttt

Why would I disappear? Iā€™m not compromised by definitive and brazen statements I have no conviction in.

Itā€™s what you do, donā€™t ask me why?

Itā€™s on. This place will go into meltdown. :grinning:

For a match that nobody cares about?

Mate, this match has the potential to rock TFK to itā€™s core.

Venue is going to be crucial. Brave move by @Nembo_Kid to fly out of the traps before it has been announced. Heā€™s oozing confidence

Thereā€™s fake confidence and real confidence and Iā€™ve got the latter in buckets

If they can do it on a wet* Saturday in Thurles, they can do it anywhere.

*Saturdayā€™s weather conditions assumed to suit narrative.

What a day in Clones yesterday.

Attending an Ulster final in Clones is not a mere act of attending a football match.

Itā€™s a pilgrimage.

Itā€™s spiritual and itā€™s glorious.

At the end of the match yesterday on the tv the camera on the sideline showed some guy hold some sort of digital instrument up to the camera but you couldnā€™t make out what was displayed on it. Puzzling because he was very keen to show everyone but he was too fleeting and you just couldnā€™t see what he was trying to show us. It might have been a temperature gauge. Was it a very hot day yesterday in Clones Syd?

It was a very hot day.

There is nothing like traffic jams, cans and the smell of burger vans in the stifling, dead inland heat of drumlin country.
