I donāt really know, but heās regularly having scrapes with Brolly. Heās one of my go to knowledgeable Ulster football men on twitter. Important to have this base covered.
Are Mayo being written off as contenders again? They seem less shit than they were at this stage last year. Theyāre still the most likely team to beat Dublin in my view.
Half 2 fuck sake
What is the point of that?!!
Nice walkover for Mayo
Hottest time of the day ffs, fuck it anyway Iāll have to take Saturday off now.Cunts.Might suit us though, our lads are younger and might take the heat better.
I think the loss of two key players in the one position for the remainder of the year, the exalting run they now face with a squad that has a lot of mileage.
They certainly seem to be playing better in the early qualifier rounds this year than the past two years but there are legitimate questions on how they will cope.
Same questions as last year, and having answered them last year they are better equipped to answer them this year. Keegan, the best player in the country, just coming back in is a massive gain, and Vaughan to come in strengthens them too. Losing SOS could even be a blessing by forcing them to freshen up more. Thereās no reason yet to think they wonāt do exactly what they did last year.
Except theyāre a year older and a lot of key players are seeing their bodies break down. The new format this year makes it more punishing too.
Youāve been saying that for years. A stopped clock.
Heāll be right eventually
Thatās my point.
yeah he may have been, but this year is different. Need a strong depth in panel and the loss of 2 key midfielders is a huge blow to them no matter what way you look at it. They do have some fresher blood coming in with the likes of Hanley and Regan etc, but they had years there were there was fuck all transition and they are left now with a very old team facing into 3 very tough super 8 games after going through a relatively easy enough qualifier route. I think this year will catch up on them for all those reasons.
Would hanley be a bit small for midfield?
he would at the moment I suppose, I meant in general of freshening things up, not just midfielders. They are going with Keegan there who will suffice, but his play will be missed from half back then.
ayeā¦robbing Peter to pay Paulā¦
and that moreso is their lack of integrating players in will be their downfall, no plan B. Theyāll still be better than most, but not competing or beating Dublin in my opinion. They had their shot, it wont happen this year.
if Kerry address their defensive issues which were embarrassingly shown up early on Sunday they will definitely put it up to the dubsā¦but considering one of the cork goals was a product of direct running, a very strong aspect of Dublinās play itās hard to seeā¦
