There are numerous kerry men attached to our club including a couple with a line to the top of the kingdom. They are deeply worried about monaghan and on balance think they won’t get back to croke park this year. They see big problems at 6 and half forward line. They want Donaghy back and o’donoghue out.

Declan Kyne is only about 6 and Kerin is less… would have seem the perfect opp to deploy him for 15 mins…

Tyrone (it’s very close between Tyrone & Galway)
Donegal
Monaghan
Kerry
Kildare
Who cares but probably Mayo

Monaghan to beat Kerry by 1 or 2
Tyrone to push Dublin very close, maybe get a result, this talk of Dublin by 10 etc is complete madness
Galway to beat Kildare, very odd predictions being made here also
Donegal to beat Roscommon by at least 5

Tyrone will beat Monaghan if they meet in the semis unfortunately
In 2019 Donegal will go to 2nd in the power rankings and go within a point of the Dubs.

It’s probably the worst football championship ever… The quality seems to be slipping year on year. Most football people are looking on at the hurling championship with pure envy.

Thats because the hurling has no ulster teams in it who wont attack.

Exact opposite. Monaghan, Tyrone, Galway, Kildare and Donegal have all progressed from last year. The big three Ulster teams are all playing far better attacking football than previously.

That’s the reason the top 7 have pulled away so much. Super 8s is probably the right format for the current relative strengths of the top counties and will explode next weekend. Monaghan v Kerry will be one of the ties of the summer.

Donegal and Galway will make further progress in 2019 and 2019 will be one of the most open years in a generation.
