Per head of population, Monaghan must be the most successful county in gaelic games all the way back to 2007. They really are the template for all small to medium populated counties.

Monaghan have been far superior here but tradition dies hard. This is not done. Monaghan led Dublin by 3 very late on in the league game at Clones last year and Dublin still beat them.
