It’s absolutely gas. I’d say 99.9% of contributors here would agree that RTÉ is a fetid swamp populated by talentless gonks in jobs for life who do pretty much as they please. But when a lad like Harte takes a principled stand against them the same contributors here are up in arms.

This group of Dublin footballers seem likeable enough with the odd exception in the full backline. Like Kerry in their prime they just win and no real billy big bollocks out of them. I hated Pillar Caffrey’s team but Jim’s lads seem normal and sound enough.

In saying that I’d love to see Tyrone win for Mickey Harte and RTE forced to stand outside the winning hotel with no access to any of the players or unable to even hand over the MOTM award.

Guys I doubt Lyster will go to the hotel. In fact I would imagine RTE will grind the heel in to Harte for denying the player the opportunity of collecting his award in the normal style.

Won’t be an issue anyway you’d feel.
