Were there any marks under the new rules in the game or did both sides stick to their traditional style of entertainment?
Plenty of ball kicked in by Tyrone but no marks.
Burns was tried at full forward but he’s not one as he can’t turn.

Glad to hear it, no matter how the game changes Mickey and Banty will be playing to their tactics of 10 years ago. Burns would have 15 seconds to turn if he won a mark but its no good just having a lad in there who can catch a ball, you need someone out the field able to kick it as well.
As I said, Tyrone kicked plenty of ball in, Burns won plenty of that ball that went in but it was ball he was running onto to collect rather than long balls launched in the square. The difference between McShane and Burns tonight was night and day, McShane would have ended up with 5 or 6 points from play tonight with that service. Burns is not a full forward.
I’d imagine if Harte and Donnelly were available right now they’d be operating inside but neither of them were. It’s going to be an issue for Tyrone now sans McShane, I’d imagine Conall McCann might get the no 14 jersey next weekend.
