That Pillar Caffrey team from 2005-2008 were tremendous fun. Always great drama with them. The quarter-final against Tyrone in 2005, semi-final against Mayo in 2006, even the semi-final against Kerry in 2007. Some great tussles in Leinster in 2005 against Wexford and Laois.

Them lads could only have played for the Dubs, the darlings of the Hill were very obviously different to the lads up from the country. These days the only way of telling them apart are the medals, someone like Shane Walsh is closer to the type of former Dublin cult figure than Kilkenny or Fenton.
