I thought corks game management in the last few minutes of full and extra time were excellent. They were making sure they were taking the last kick in the game to prevent opposition getting another score

The father in law still hasn’t spoken a word apparently since the final whistle. Just sitting there seething with quiet anger according to the in law family WhatsApp group. Just as well he uses a old Nokia brick

He’s a desperately frustrating player who’ll let you down more often than not I’d say. He would have been the villain if ball didn’t drop in yer man’s hands. He’s almost a carbon copy of yer man fionan Murray who played for Cork a few years back in style etc.

Neil Flynn came on for Kildare with 10 mins to go, banged over 3 points to get them across the line including an outrageous free off the ground out by the sideline and an equally impressive mark off his bad side on the other sideline. He buried his father yesterday, don’t know how he did it.

It was an awful game. Two teams setup to not go for it.
Kerry people will sick after it. That Cork team are very average. Tipp will fancy their chances in the Munster final.
