At one stage Mayo could have been 4 or 5 up. As it was it could have been worse than a two point deficit.

Tyrone far better, much more natural footballers all over the field. But for some wayward shooting (to go along with some absolute peach points) and a flukey save they’d be out of sight. The officials are clearly biased for Mayo. If Tyrone remain calm and composed they win

Whoever is marking Ruane is doing a good spoiling job. He hasn’t been that prominent. That has to change.

Mayo press is working better, but Tyrone have done much better at midfield when they’ve went long than would have been expected. O’Hora getting a bit of a roasting, lucky not to get the black. Tyrone have scored from fairly low-percentage shooting positions, but look much more comfortable in front of the posts. Mayo have to get runners coming off O’Shea, he won’t score himself if he’s there for the night.
Still delicately poised, could come down to a Dublin Joe decision.
