I donât get the criticism of Nunez at all, they are fucking the ball at him. The fact that is he making anything stick is a testament to him. He has been involved in anything good Uruguay have done.

Theyâre lacking a couple of rapid wingers. A couple of very good technicians in midfield, a few hardy and crafty defenders, very capable strikers but an absolute dearth of widemen to bring it all together. What they wouldnât give for a prime Maxi Peirera.

I actually think Bentancur has been the best player on the pitch tonight. He has been flawless. I thought he was lazy to be honest in the first round match. Serious ability. He is putting in a shift here.
Doesnât matter how many good players Uruguay have. They nearly prefer to shithouse their way through tournaments anyway.
