Referenced it after the Wales-Iran game but the Welch structure is based around Bale and Ramsey and it fell apart with them being past it. Joe Allen being injured in the lead up to the WC and completely lacking match fitness was another issue, as he was important to them too. Some similarities to our Euro 2012 experience in that it came a year or two too late for a clutch of key players but the coach was still relying on them.
On a separate note, Ronaldo is obviously very selfish and egotistical but I used to think he played up to it a bit for the laugh. But his carry on lately indicates that he is an actual child.
