Had forgotten that Kramaric was at Leicester for a while. Didnât play often enough to earn a medal in the title winning season. Had it in my head that he might have appeared for Steve Keanâs Blackburn outfit in the early 10âs but it must have been a different Croatian striker.
Kalinic was the striker I was mixing him up with.
The bet is Croatia but I want Argentina to win so I canât bring myself to do it

Kalinic was a bit of a flop too.
Klasnic was at Bolton for a while, he was decent enough.
Although Kramaric has been fairly prolific in Germany, he definitely has something about him.
Klasnic was very good at Euro 2008. Prolific in Germany with Werder Bremen too. Think he ended up with a serious lung disease or something towards the end of his career?
Then there was Jelavic who broke our hearts at Euro 2012 after a strong goalscoring run for Rangers and Everton.
I think we all know here that the score will be 0-0 and there will be a red card and Croatia will advance in a penalthy shoot out
If Davor Suker was playing now, Croatia would have won 2018 and would win this one.

Heâd a brilliant goalscoring record for the national team too.
Croatia in '98 were unbelievable. Throw Modric in that team or Suker in this one and theyâre winning championships
This is the sort of situation where Iâd bet on Croatia to qualify just because I wanted to lose - if I still bet on anything, which I donât.
