In fairness to him it looked like he correctly changed his mind. Presume he blew the whistle for a free in and then had a think about it. Not every ref would have the balls to do it.

McManus has been incredible for years. What a player. I doubt even Clifford will be doing it at that age for Kerry.

If Mayo win they’re guaranteed to be on the opposite side of the draw to Kerry.

If Derry beat Cork, it can’t be a Kerry-Dublin All-Ireland semi-final.

If Cork beat Derry, it can’t be a Kerry-Cork semi-final.

If Mayo and Cork win, Kerry would play the winners of this.

If Dublin and Cork win, there would be a draw with a 50% chance of a Kerry v Dublin semi-final. You could have semi-final pairings of Kerry v Dublin and Armagh/Monaghan v Cork.
