Did you see the lad heading off with the microphone? Joanne would have had him shot.
Philly is worth his weight in gold
Nothing is a free
“Armagh ten years into their project, Donegal ten minutes into theirs”. Michael Murphy
Fucking hell
Jim will have to make an example of him
Another grim afternoon for Kildare. Never known such apathy in the county. Across the board there is just indifference to how bad things are within the county at the moment.
Louth were well worth it. It’s not even a shock result.
Now have the ignominy of the Tailteann Cup and won’t even win that either.
Michael wont be touched
Jommy probably instructed him to say that…make the armagh lads doubt kieran. Murphy is a bit too straightforward to come up with that on his own.
Jimmy actually let his guard downafter the derry match…he suggested that donegal took the game seriously, then he corrected himself and said ‘not that derry didn’t’, or words to that effect. He looked disgusted with himself…
Almost like the new format and season is a crock of a shit.
It really was a lovely bit of television. And credit the Ulster Council for the championing of the GAA for all programme, and showcasing it on such a big stage. You cant even come to imagine what that meant to the people involved with that, and I’m not just talking about the players themselves. The coaches involved there are fucking incredible people, and they as much as anyone will have loved that day out. And its the least they deserve as thats no easy work they’re doing there, but it means the world to the participants and especially their loved ones.
Well done all.

This is the crux of the matter. I’m not sure it’s quite as easy as he makes out but it is definitely too easy
The backcourt thing seems like it would be a good rule to implement. Once you pass the opposition 65 you can’t go back
The opposition pulls all 15 into the area and what happens then?
The team with the ball actually have to kick it.
That already happens in most games bar leaving 1 up which will stay the same I imagine
Yes but it doesn’t solve the problem.
You’d be doing very well find that space but I’m open to trialing it in something that doesn’t matter, like the Sigerson Cup
Football and hurling as 13 a side games would be far better. Helps weaker teams too as don’t need to find as many players.
