The new format is a disadvantage for Ulster teams though compared to the previous one. The more other teams get to play against gimmicky tactics and the anti football style the more they figure it out.

Eh Tyrone played two matches in Ulster. Monaghan one.
In fact the two teams going well Armagh and Donegal were the ones who made the final. Which fairly makes shit of that logic

Teams can only peak for so long.
Dublin and Kerry can peak for July.
Tyrone were able to match Donegal in early may. A month later they were trashed.

Mayo’s legs are gone after a gallant effort last week v Dublin.
No real reason to be playing 6 days on from that.Derry had a much easier tie v Westmeath.
Mayo had to come through 3 Connacht games, two against AI QFinalists and one an intercontinental away game.
Compare to Derry who had one game in Ulster.
The setup is very anti Connacht really
