Think the Greeks got possession initially from a Collins header down into midfield & Omobamidele was retreating but caught on his heels. Worked it out right & Ireland never got their defensive shape/structure back, even though the Greeks were hardly moving the ball at breakneck speed. Pretty poor from centre backs to back off & allow your man to get turned & line up a shot. Not sure Kelleher had a hope of saving it but goalies look a bit silly skipping across the line & not diving when the ball goes in.

@neilld you’ve an awful horn for turning CBs into midfielders. How do you think Collins might fare out if he moved up the field?
If Liverpool had sold Kelleher to somewhere he’d get a game, he’d have been sharp enough to move for the goal. Arne Slot couldn’t have been more responsible for that goal if he’d booted it in himself

He has a change of gear and could carry the ball a bit like Rice does for Arsenal. Need him at the back as well though. He’s probably the best player there.
