€110 to play him isn’t bad when it’s €80 elsewhere and you only meet him.

Littler showing the bad loser streak again leaving Smith hanging with the handshake.
Is there bad blood between them?

Does he get the €110 or is there a charity element or how does it work

No he’s just a little wanker, as predicted the rest are getting used to playing him now and the pressure of going against him is gone.

From what I can see he’s playing 22 legs on the night at €110 each and there’s general admission tickets then for €40 each.

It’d be a few thousand to book him so the bar would have to cover the costs. Humphries is in Mohill tomorrow, Castlebar on Saturday and Nenagh on Sunday. He’d surely make €10k for those 3 appearances. He’ll win €10k if he wins the final tonight.

MVG and Willie Connors are in Laois Tuesday night. €200 to play MVG and €100 to play Willie. Think it’s €60 for VIP ticket which includes a meet and greet and €30 for general admission.

A bar in Cork are after booking Ricky Evans (World #41) and Willie Connors (Worlds #49) for €1900 + hotel for the night and food and drink. Evans is €1100 and Willie is €800 I think.

I mean it’s nice money. But littler is surely coining it at the moment. I suppose make hay

Don’t think he’s doing any exhibitions at the moment anyway. Sure he can’t be inside a pub here after 9 o clock :joy:

He’s guaranteed £60k for the Premier League.

He’s picked up another £265k including the World Championship prize money. He’ll lose nearly 60% of that between giving the tax man cut and his management need to be paid also.

He’s a brand ambassador for BoohooMan.

He’s doing alright you could say.

The price of the tickets go to the venue yeah?

It’s a fixed cost for the player with food, drink and accommodation?

The player has an agent there as well I think

I had this exact conversation with my missus earlier today and she came up with that line

Yeah the venue would book him through the agent and the capacity of the venue would decide how you’d get the money back.

The fee would include the agent’s cut but the food, drink and accommodation would be extra then.

Usually 3 tiers of tickets

General admission
Meet and greet including a photo opportunity

Phil Taylor came to Tipp Town back in the summer of 2019 and got sent home to Stoke with tea in his mug by a local pub player.

He didn’t take it too well.

Peter Manley was in Dublin during the summer.

€20 to play him in a leg of 501.

Shut up and Dance v Cake By The Ocean walkouts. Two great tunes to bop to in nightclubs back around 2015/16.

I saw Taylor play in Dungarvan a few years ago. He was drinking a pot of tea while he played instead of pints. He lost a game or two on the night but was really sound about it.

In Tipp, the one he lost was the first one he played.

He played 15 more lads after in a leg each and didn’t give one even a sniff of a shot at a double.

Luke Humphries really is a great bit of stuff.

At the risk of repeating myself, his performance in the final of the Worlds against a previously rampant Littler to turn it around and win five sets straight is as impressive as I have seen.

He is rampant himself now in terms of the world’s best. And clearly a very nice fella to add to it all.

I don’t think Taylor at his best could match Humphries at the moment.
