Pep looks like he is going to play one of the wingers through the middle in backup situations. Could swoop for Ivan Toney if Pep thought he was good enough. Iād love to see Evan Ferguson working under him if maybe he wanted to mind Haaland more for the bigger games.

Might be a job for Grealish as a false nine Firminio type forward. He is as strong as a bull to hold fellas off and his touch and awareness is always immaculate. Weād probably have seen it in preseason though. Pep will figure something anyway.

How come de Ligt is going to United at a fairly reduced price @neilld? He looked very good back in the Ajax days but I havenāt seen that much of him lately (he couldnāt get in the Dutch team at WC). Think he was more or less the most expensive defender ever when Juve signed him and heās now half the price heading into his prime. Could be a very shrewd signing.
Eric Dier kept him out of the Bayern Munich team.

Heās been bombed out of every club heās joined since leaving Ajax. Only two clubs to be fair. Juve and Bayern.
